Here's a watercolor I did in 2002. My notes unfortunately don't say where the idea came from. I think I was trying to express a careless, giddy optimism paired with deep responsibility. Kindof abstract, but I know it's in there somewhere.

I don't have a good set up, so please forgive the poor photography.

Thanks! I had been off watercolors for a while so I brushed up by re-reading Sally Harper's The Complete Watercolor Artist [http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/asin/0785800352/] and reviewing my old work. As with anything, there are some amazing techniques that still completely confound me. I'm warming up to do a couple more paintings for friends-or-family and will eventually post equally poor photos here.

If anyone needs a watercolor, I currently work on the cheap!
