Washington elite,
as if any media questions about her positions and McCain's vetting process should have been off limits. In mocking tone, Mr. Simon declares:[S]peeches are true windows to the soul ... [u]nless they are delivered by Barack Obama, that is. In which case, as Palin said Wednesday, speeches are just a
cloud of rhetoric.
